حيرةالعمل والمهنةمجهول
I got what I wanted and feel empty
I just finished reading A Trace of Rizq and it hit me like a small mirror. I got a promotion I chased for years, an attached paid fellowship that will set my CV and my family up, but it means moving cities, 12 hour days, and nights on call. I celebrated by myself in the kitchen at fajr, making tea because I could not sleep, and felt oddly hollow. My parents sent a long voice note I left on read. Part of me says this is blessing and sacrifice, part of me wonders what I lose of my prayer rhythms, my little sister's school runs, and quiet Quran time. How do you choose between a secured future and the small, daily acts that keep me rooted in faith and home?
