QuestionPrayer
I keep missing prayers while on the road
I used to think travel would be a simple test of will. It is not. Between red-eye flights, layovers that turn into late dinners, rental car coffee runs, and two kids asleep at home, my prayer routine is a mess. I reverted after thirty years of searching, and prayer is how I try to stay anchored, but I keep piling up qada and then avoiding the number because it feels impossible to catch up. I find myself praying in hotel bathrooms, or skipping maghrib because the meeting ran late, and then carrying the guilt like extra luggage. Has anyone else lived this? How do you actually make qada when your schedule is always changing, and what helped with the guilt?
