I'm the only one praying at our family gatherings

I can count the times I felt seen at my own family's table. Last weekend, at my mother's apartment in Grbavica, they passed the ćevapi and laughed about a TV match while I slipped into the hallway to pray Maghrib by the shoe rack. My tasbih was in my pocket, my phone had a message about joining the afterparty left on read. The call to prayer from the little mosque on our street used to feel like home. Now it feels like a reminder that I am the odd one out. Has anyone else sat with this kind of quiet loneliness at family gatherings? How did you live with it or talk about it?
