My dua journal feels tiny next to feeds
I sit on the bus after a long lab, thumb already reaching for my phone like muscle memory. My dua journal with its coffee-stained corner is in my bag, answered prayers tucked between pages, but three new stories and a reel of smiling sisters in perfect hijab scroll past in seconds. Suddenly my exams, my quiet sujood in the student kitchen at fajr, even my small answered duas feel behind someone else’s highlight reel. I close the app and feel guilty for closing it. Does anyone else feel like their life and iman are both somehow behind everyone else’s when they scroll? How do you live with that feeling?
