AtharStories is a quiet space for stories that move the heart. These guidelines keep it that way — a place that stays safe, honest, and generous.
Our stories are powerful because they are true. Write from your own life, not someone else’s. Privacy matters — do not name other people without their permission.
We respect all backgrounds and traditions. You can disagree without attacking a person or a group. If a topic stirs anger, pause before you write.
A small team reviews every story before publication. We’ll reach out if we need a small edit. If we decline a story, we’ll explain why. This is not a judgment on you — it’s a way to protect the space for everyone.
If you see a story or comment that breaks these guidelines, use the "Report" button on the card. We review every report, usually within one business day. For urgent issues (such as a threat of violence), email support@atharstories.com right away.
For minor violations, we may remove content and send a warning. For repeated or serious violations, we may suspend the account. For severe violations (such as threats of violence), we remove the account immediately and, where needed, notify the appropriate authorities.
If you believe a decision was made in error, you have the right to request a review by emailing support@atharstories.com with "Appeal" in the subject.
AtharStories is rooted in Islamic tradition but open to anyone searching the meaning of patience, healing, and hope. The stories here are personal experience, not religious rulings.
