When Quiet Routines Become Our Prayer
I just read "Love Built in Prayer and Quiet" and it landed on a soft place in me. I live in Fes, I memorize the Quran and teach it to the little ones, and I write about the verses that changed my days. Lately I noticed I was counting my husband’s small gestures like tasbih beads: the way he wakes to boil mint tea before my early class, the note he slips into my copy of a surah, the silence we share folding clothes after maghrib. They are not grand, but they hold us. I am wondering how others keep marriage sacred in small, ordinary moments?
